How We Got Here
Don and Mai Pham are the trailblazers in our family, opening our first grocery store in the Okanagan almost thirty years ago. With only about 800 square feet of space on Asher Road in Rutland to work with, they stocked hundreds of unique grocery products from around the world.
The Phams love to see their eclectic regulars - folks of all ages, and all backgrounds, sharing in the love of food. Sean is grown-up now and still has customers approach him, who remember him as a small boy on Asher Road.
Family is an important part of how the Phams run their business; today, Don and Mai’s children, brother, auntie, and mother all work together at the store.
